Baths

Bathroom Renovation, Houston, TX Bathrooms can be a chaotic place in the morning and serene place in the evening. It takes a lot of planning to meet both situations.

Here are some ideas to keep in mind as you work with your designer.
  • Find a comfortable connection between the bedroom and bathroom. Even if the original space was not designed as a “master suite”, when you remodel you may be able to create the concept.
  • The bathroom should be an extension of the bedroom. Be mindful of what you see from one room into the other (the door is usually left open!).
  • Make your bathroom a room. Sounds obvious, but what you want to do is organize different functional areas around a central space.
  • Designate spaces for specific functions. For instance, if a fixture is unusual or artistic, give it a little extra space to show it off.
  • Use compatible fixtures and materials. Your designer will help you choose styles and colors that are consistent and complement your home.
  • Keep it in proper proportion. The bathroom should be a pleasant space, but not be the biggest room of the house!
There’s a lot going on in a bathroom! Your designer will help you select and can provide the following materials:
  • Custom cabinetry – Crystal or Custom Cupboards
  • Countertops – Granite, Marble, Solid Surface
  • Flooring – Natural stone, Porcelain tile
  • Bath/Shower surround – Natural stone, Porcelain/Glass tile
  • Plumbing Fixtures and Fittings
  • Ventilation
